NPCs / Mobs / Statues / Bosses / Legends

NPC System

  • The NPC system has been completely rebuilt, replacing the old architecture.

    • Massive improvement in server-side optimization.

    • Significant synchronization improvements between all enemies and players.


Statues

  • Destroying statues now feels much smoother.

  • Statue cleanup after destruction has been improved:

    • they now disappear instantly.


Group Expeditions / General Enemies

  • Enemy synchronization has been significantly improved.

  • Situations where:

    • one player sees a mob in point A,

    • while another sees it in point B

    should no longer occur.


Routines / Idling

  • The world of Axyl has received a second life.

  • Enemies are no longer static “pillars” standing in place.

  • NPCs and enemies now:

    • patrol,

    • idle,

    • draw and sheath weapons,

    • eat,

    • behave naturally.

  • Your pets also received their own routines.


Pets

  • Fixed the issue where pets respawned at coordinates 0,0,0 during world transitions.

  • Pet hiding now works properly after:

    • enemy rerendering,

    • world changes.

  • Wardrobe pages now correctly save:

    • pet appearance settings separately for each page.


Lords

  • All Lords on base maps:

    • now correctly reset:

      • loot,

      • HP,

      • mechanics.

  • This means that after resetting a boss:

    • all mechanics start from the beginning again.


Mechanics / Indicators

The following Lords:

  • Karan’thul

  • Demonic Queen

  • Orc Warlord

  • Garakh-Vaghkar

  • Underground Guardian

received:

  • red indicators,

  • green indicators,

  • mechanic warning zones.

Colors:

  • 🟢 Green → safe zone protecting from damage

  • 🔴 Red → danger zone dealing massive damage


Effects

  • Many effects now have cast cooldowns:

    • improving gameplay feeling,

    • reducing FPS drop chances.


Player / Enemy Names

  • Player, mob, and NPC names:

    • now properly hide behind walls and buildings.

  • Does not apply to:

    • tents,

    • market stands,

    • small decorative objects.


Enemy Manipulation

  • Enemy AI control has been significantly expanded.

  • Combat with:

    • alligators,

    • trolls,

    • crawlers,

    • and many other enemies

    should now feel much more natural.

  • Enemies:

    • no longer phase through player characters,

    • keep proper distance,

    • react more naturally to movement.


Living World

  • Added new possibilities and daily routines.

  • Full waypoint networks have been added to all base maps.

  • Guards:

    • patrol actively,

    • defend settlements,

    • behave more naturally.


These overall changes should drastically improve gameplay feeling and create a strong foundation for future locations and group expeditions.


Ruhmar Lords

  • Reduced HP of all Ruhmar Lords by:

    • 25%

  • Fixed an issue allowing players to enter Old Mine with levels higher than intended

  • Fixed Forest Lord minions:

    • they no longer grant experience

  • Fixed marketplace listing issues for:
